14 December 2017: Shining Stars Carol Concert

As the winter season approaches and our thoughts turn to celebrations, remembrance and thanks, Southampton Hospital Charity would like to give you the opportunity to get involved by joining us for our annual carol concert.

Carol service

Shining Stars Carol Concert

Our Shining Stars carol concert will be held on Thursday 14 December at the Chapel, D level, Southampton General Hospital at 7.00pm.

We hope that you will join us for our annual Shining Stars carol concert.

Bring your family and friends and experience an evening of carols and seasonal refreshments to really get you in the festive spirit!

Seasonal refreshments will be available including mulled wine and, of course, mince pies.

This is always a fun evening for everyone, and provides an opportunity for us to thank our regular and one-off donors for their support throughout the year.

Shining Stars Christmas Celebration

As the winter season approaches and our thoughts turn to celebrations, remembrance and thanks, we would like to give you the opportunity to make a special dedication.

We invite you to dedicate a Shining Star to celebrate the life of someone who can't be with us at this time, or write a personal message of thanks to a friend, relative, hospital individual or team.

Remember, a donation doesn't have to be large to make a difference - just give what you can.

Make a donation instead of sending a card

This Christmas, give the gift of giving. Why not ask fellow staff for a small donation instead of sending each other cards, then collect all the money and donate the money to benefit your ward or department.

If you are still seeing fellow staff over the Christmas period, this could be an easier way to show you are thinking about each other, plus you have the additional environmental benefits.

We can provide an e-certificate showing staff and patients how much was raised, an e-card to send around instead of the card, or a physical Shining Stars decoration for your ward’s tree or reception desk.

PDF information for donations in lieu of cards.

Our thanks to Paul Capper funeral directors for supporting our Shining Stars Christmas Celebration, and for B&Q for donating the Christmas tree for our main entrance.
