Stolen bike won’t stop our fundraisers...
Jo Green has been an avid supporter of our PLANETS fund (Pancreatic, Liver and NeuroEndocrine Tumours) for a number of years and has already raised thousands of pounds for us.
Having just unwrapped a new road bike from Santa, she only managed one ride before it was stolen yesterday (27/1/16).
Jo is one of 50 riders who have signed up to ride 300 km from London to Paris in just 24hrs - a big ask, but the PLANETS team have an exceptional team of patients, doctors and nurses, with family and friends for support.
To donate to the cause, please sponsor any of the team: https://www.justgiving.com/teams/LP24
They will be riding out of London on Friday 24 June, before arriving in Paris the following evening for a well earned glass of Champagne under the Eiffel tower!
PLANETS is a unique team demonstrating the benefits of close collaboration between clinical staff and patients. They aim to educate and empower patients, and to invest in novel cancer treatments to enable teams to provide world leading care.
Every pound you donate WILL improve cancer care for somebody less fortunate. To donate to the cause, please sponsor any of the team: https://www.justgiving.com/teams/LP24
Please don't let the thieves stop Jo showing the way and riding the group into Paris. A crowdfundring page was set up to help for contributions towards a new bike for Jo, and we are nearly there – thank you for the generous donations.
