Children getting creative with Miss Hampshire
Being stuck in a hospital can be a really boring time for the children in the Southampton Children’s Hospital.
There is really nothing like being at home, however this weekend, the children are in for a treat.
On Saturday 11 July, Larissa Hirst, the current Miss Hampshire, is coming into Southampton General Hospital to work with our staff and children to design a cape for her to wear for the Miss England competition.
Larissa has been a firm supporter of Southampton Hospital Charity and has helped to raise thousands of pounds for the charity to show her support for treatment received by her boyfriend in 2015.
A large supply of paper, paint, pens, glue and sparkles is being provided, for the children to redesign the Southampton Hospital Charity logo in their own design.
Good luck to all the children.
We can’t wait to see what you get up to!
